The Mercy School of nursing affiliated to Mid India Board of education Nagpur, Maharashtra and recognized by Indian Nursing Council New Delhi and Jharkhand nurses Registration Council Ranchi. It is one of the best nursing schools in Jamshedpur, Dist. – East Singhbhum Jharkhand.
The Mercy school of nursing is owned and managed by the Mercy Hospital founded in 1962, which is a minority institution registered under societies registration Act,21,1860 as “Jamshedpur Mercy Hospital Society” in year 2005- 2006.Mercy hospital is a 250 bedded hospital. The institute is run by the Congregation of Sisters of Charity of Jesus and Mary founded by Rev. Fr. Peter Joseph Triest in Belgium in 1803. Its mission is to reveal the compassionate, tender and unconditional love of God the Father by caring the sick, the marginalized and the underprivileged by bring them back to wholesome health, educating the children to aim at creating a humane society where justice, love and peace prevails and imbued with the sense of God within and around the whole of creation.
